- This web chat is end-to-end encrypted. Only your device and the device of the advocate you are chatting with can read the messages being sent. Chats are not saved.
- While encryption protects privacy, it does not prevent messages from being read on any device that has a virus, malware, or spyware on it. If you think that your device may have been compromised, access the web chat from another device.
- Anyone monitoring your router’s internet traffic will see that you are visiting a web chat site. They will not see who the service provider is or what you are saying, but they may see the Pathways homepage as the last site visited. If you believe this could hurt your safety, access the web chat from a more secure internet connection.
